MGN Public School, Adarsh Nagar, Jalandhar

Besides the tense situation in the city MGN Public School, Adarsh Nagar, could muster courage to conduct the Summer Camp, as per schedule from 31st May 2009 to 3rd June 2009. Nearly 225 students & staff members attended the camp. The activities were numerous, yet entertaining & educative. The campers enjoyed them to the utmost in the water park at Hardy’s World. For many children, Tonga ride was a wonderful & unbelievable experience. The Puppet Show, Labs Computer, English & Electronics were hot favourites. The campers performed to the best of their ability on the Cultural Night, on 2nd June 2009. All students were divided into eight groups choosing its own name, some being – High Spirits, Rock Hard, Thunderbirds. The Slogans that they chose were very adequate – With our High Spirit, we will always soar High, We are difficult, so we are the best. They were given themes to enact– Riots, Parent Child Relationship, Say no to drugs. The Cultural Night was presided over by S. J S Pasricha, Hony. Secy. MGN Educational Trust, Ms Satwant Gakhal, appreciated the efforts put in by the staff & students to make the Camp a Success.
