Bhai Gobind Singh Pasricha Memorial Cricket Tournament was started in the year 2000 as a humble effort to pay tribute to our founding father Bhai Gobind Singh Pasricha. Since then the tournament has acted as a spring board and a great source of motivation to all the students not only from MGN institutions but also from other institutions. In a very short span of time this tournament has become one of the most prestigious Tournaments of the region. The year 2008 was a big turning point in the history of the tournament when a team from Township school Lahore (Pakistan) participated in the tournament. The tournament has produced two budding cricketers for the country Mandeep and Ishan Malhotra.

The details of the match are as under :-
The Fourth and Final Day of the Bhai Gobind Singh Pasricha Memorial 13th Inter-School Cricket Tournament as scheduled was played between Kiddy’s Corner School, Gwalior ( M.P.) and K V M School, Ludhiana. Toss was won by Kiddy’s Corner School, Gwalior and they invited to K V M School, Ludhiana to bat first, and they themselves opted to field first. Match was scheduled for 25 overs and both the teams were dressed in colourful kits. K V M School, Ludhiana was dressed into blue kit whereas Kiddy’s Corner School ,Gwalior was dressed in red kit. K V M School, Ludhiana scored 163 runs at the loss of 6 wickets and set a target of 164 runs for Kiddy’s Corner School, Gwalior (M.P.). S. Surinder Singh Sodhi, D.I.G Counter Intelligence,Amritsar ( Arjuna Awardee ) graced the occasion as Chief Guest. He was formally introduced to both the teams. He was extended floral welcome and token of love by Patron S. Jarnail Singh Pasricha.
Olympian, Padamshree Pargat Singh, M.L.A., Jalandhar graced occasion and spared his precious time for the tournament during second inning. He was extended a gala floral welcome and token of love by S. Jarnail Singh Pasricha.
On the occasion, match was enjoyed by S. Gurmohan Singh, Mr. Gurpreet Singh, Mr. Ramneek Singh Kalra & Principal, Ms Satwant Gakhal, Vice Principal Mrs Brinder Badwal, Principal, Dr. Amit Kauts Principal, Mr. Jatinder Singh, Mrs D K Sagoo , Mrs Kiran Mehta and staff members and students of the School and other dignitaries were present. The chief guest presented various trophies and certificates to the deserving players. Kiddy’s Corner School, Gwalior ( M.P.) had successful victory by beating Kundan Vidya Mandir School, Ludhiana in FINALS.
On this occasion students of MGN presented P.T.Drill , Cultural Programme - Bhangra to greet guest and participating teams.
SANATH FROM Kiddy’s Corner School, Gwalior ( M.P.) WAS DECLARED MAN OF THE SERIES AND ATUL FROM SAME SCHOOL DECLARED MAN OF THE MATCH.

Match was scheduled for 20 overs. Toss was won by Spring Dale Sr. School, Amritsar and they opted to bat first. They scored 89 runs at the loss of all wickets and set a target of 90 runs for Kiddy’s Corner School, Gwalior M.P.). Ms Isha Kalia, (I.A.S.)
