MGN is the first school in Jalandhar which has introduced the service Vocational Guidance and Counselling. A Guidance and counseling cell has been set up in the campus to equip the children with better information regarding the capitalization of their potential and talents and understanding of the world around them, including the work environment, its demands, opportunities available, essential qualities, qualifications required and other specifications.

The guidance and Counselling service entails the provision of various individual enhancing services as:

1. Career information service.

2. Occupational information.

3. Testing service i.e of various personality modalities as interest, aptitude, personality, creativity, intelligence and others.

counselling helps the child to make appropriate career decisions, equipping him with adequate emotional, psychological and personal strength that will help him overcome any anxiety or tribulation felt due to peer pressure, faulty social interaction, wrong parental injunctions and anxiety.  the cell established in the school campus will not only serve the pupil but also the parents, teachers and the community at large.
