Bhai Gobind Singh Pasricha (1901 – 1972)

Education creates a personality, a mind, a reason, it creates 'a man'. Bhai Gobind Singh Pasricha, was not only a creator; he was a creator of creators'. Our founder father, Bhai Gobind Singh Pasricha stepped in the field of education with a primary school at Montgomery (now in Pakistan). The school was steadily heading towards glory when it suffered the blow of partition in 1947. But with indefatigable spirits & unfaltering determination, he moved ahead & opened his first school in Jalandhar in 1949. Hence, foundation of 'Saga MGN' was laid.

A true embodiment of honesty and dedication, he had deep respect for women & believed that educated women make a strong base for a progressive society.

 Bhaiyaji considered his school & staff, his extended family. It was only with the contribution of visionaries like Bhaiyaji that the silver lining of education, outlined the dark clouds of a resource deficient society.

Like every true mentor, Bhaiyaji was an avid learner. Though awarded many times for his endless & tireless efforts, he was indifferent to material prizes. His real pride/prize was his elation to be able to execute his plans well.

Bhaiyaji believed that sports bring out the best qualities of an individual. Himself a fine lawn tennis player, he always encouraged students to play games to imbibe the lessons on co-existence & cohesion. To honor Bhaiyaji's Vision & to carry forward his dream, MGN Trust started a Cricket Tournament in his memory, that has risen to the glory Van of an International Tournament.

Bhaiyaji is no more just a Man; has become a legend, transcending the boundaries of time & space.
